What should I wear to each day of recruitment?

What should I expect during Primary Recruitment?
It’s hard to figure out what to expect when going through Primary Recruitment. We recommend going into the process with an open mind and heart. Remaining positive and optimistic will help you find your home in the sorority that is the best fit for you. What is the schedule for recruitment?
The schedule for Fall Primary Recruitment 2025 is as follows:
Sunday, August 17—Opening Convocation, Open House
Monday & Tuesday, August 18-19—Philanthropy Round
Wednesday & Thursday, August 20-21—Sisterhood Round
Friday, August 22—Preference Round
Saturday, August 23—Bid Day
Monday, August 25—Classes Begin
How do I register for recruitment?
Registration for recruitment opens on June 1st and closes August 1st, 2025. We encourage you to visit our campus Panhellenic website, where you can register for recruitment and find out other important information!
Are recruitment and rush the same thing?
Yes! Recruitment and rush are interchangeable. However, we like to use the term recruitment.
Does Zeta participate in Spring Recruitment?
No, our Zeta chapter does not currently participate in Spring recruitment.
What do I send Zeta if I’m going through recruitment?
Please visit the Recruitment tab on the Texas Panhellenic website for more information on letters of recommendation and materials needed for registration.
Where can I submit my recommendation?
Letters of Recommendation are not required, but we appreciate and encourage alumnae to recommend outstanding women for membership in ZTA by submitting voluntary Membership Information Sheets (MIS) through the Sisters Only website. To access Sisters Only, you can use the link on the Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity homepage.
Do I need to send a packet?
Our Zeta Tau Alpha chapter does not utilize packets, but materials sent to the ZTA house will be looked over.
